Hi there! I’m Tess. I write about everything from cardiac devices to equity in clinical research and the psychology of marketing. Finding beauty and inspiration in the variety of life makes me happy. That, and a hike through the woods with my husband and three kids.
Academic background & continuing education
My undergrad psychology classes at Bethel University prepared me to navigate the world of scientific journals and statistics and understand the people side of freelancing. Since Bethel, I’ve been learning through work experience, taking online courses, and participating in the North Central American Medical Writer’s Association (AMWA) chapter. I currently serve as the Finance Committee chair and write a recurring column on grammar for their newsletter.
